Furoshiki cloths have a long history in Japan as a waste-free way of wrapping and transporting goods. Jenn Playford has brought this concept to us with Furochic, cotton wrapping cloths printed with her own vibrant patterns. The Furochic is a great way to set up a reciprocal gifting tradition with someone--you wrap a gift for them in one this year, next year you get it back. Each Furochic includes instructions for several wrapping techniques for items of various shapes and sizes like books, bottles, and bouquets of flowers. Jenn has several video demonstrations on her web site. Each Furochic is a 27" x 27" square of cotton fabric.
